Annual Red and Blue meet ends in Blue Team Victory

It was wild outside and wild inside South Side High School’s gym as near hurricane force winds and rain did nothing to dampen the spirits and the crowd at the completion of the 94th annual Red and Blue indoor meet that involved approximately 300 of the school's girls -- and their families and friends tonight.
The Blue team, coming into tonight’s competition after prevailing in last night’s sports events, won by a score of 55 over the Red team’s 46.
Most of Blue’s dominance came in athletic events, but Red prevailed in poster, song, prop and tumbling, with Blue taking dance, meet organization, tumbling and skit.
