Caspin Productions of Rockville Centre brought a full crew and a cast of actors to several settings inside and outside Maple Pointe Assisted Living on the weekend of Sept. 25 to tape a TV pilot. The program was described by producer Doris Molina as a “sci-fi drama,” in which a mysterious man in black named Luke confronts people at their darkest hour and guides them through the murky, uncharted territories of the supernatural.
Some Maple Pointe staffers were recruited as extras for the pilot. “The Final Moment” is planned as a weekly series that its producers hope will be sold to a cable network.
