A preview of career options in Rockville Centre

Tina Carlstrom, the mother of Luke, an 8th grader at St. Agnes Cathedral School, above, participated in its annual Career Day on April 8, which offers the graduating class an opportunity to listen to presentations from invited guests regarding each of their professions. Participants this year included a media manager, banker, entrepreneur/fireman, dentist, HR executive, event planner, stock research analyst and a university vice president. This opportunity allows students to get a “sneak peak” at some of the careers in the job market today. The students have the chance to attend three of eight presentations that are followed by a question and answer period with the guest.
