Local officials were invited to the Sandel Senior Center on Saturday afternoon as newly elected Assemblyman Brian Curran (R- Lynbrook) took a second oath of office administered by Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos. At the in-district ceremony, Curran, the former mayor of Lynbrook, promised to be a strong advocate for cutting and capping property taxes, as well as reducing spending in Albany.
