On Monday, the Village of Rockville Centre celebrated the start of Hanukkah at the Recreation Center.
The annual celebration started with Rabbi Elliot Skiddell of Congregation Beth Emeth lighting the Menorah and leading prayers. Then the fun really started, as magician John Turdo wowed kids — and their parents, too — with his illusions.
