On May 1, the Rockville Centre Lions Club held its annual Dinner in the Dark, raising funds and letting guests see how difficult doing something as simple as eat a meal is for those with vision impairment.
Held at the Rockville Centre Lions Club, the annual dinner raised money for the Lions Club, as well as for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and the Mother of Good Counsel Home in Roosevelt.
The dinner also honored Rockville Centre residents Barbara Ann Dillon and Matthew Lindsay for their dedication to the community.
