Peter Strong and Emma Kriss from the 2010 graduating class were chosen as South Side High School’s Outstanding Physical Education Students for the Nassau Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. They received awards at a Dec. 14 dinner at the Crest Hollow Country Club. In addition to exhibiting exceptional physical performance, Peter, Emma and other students who were honored also demonstrate a high level of academic achievement, leadership qualities and outstanding school or community service.
