Members of the United States Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force teamed up with Nassau County police on Tuesday morning in Rockville Centre to arrest a man for an open warrant issued by Pinellas County, Fla.

Bryan Caldwell, 23, of Florida, had been charged with two counts of murder and a felony probation violation. He was arrested at 38 Vincent Street and charged as a fugitive from justice. He was arraigned on that charge in First District Court in Hempstead later on Tuesday.

According to an article from the Tampa Bay Times, Caldwell is a suspect in a double homicide that occurred in North Greenwood on April 4, 2011.

The article states that Caldwell is wanted in the murders of Derrick Harris, 23, and William Hamilton, 30, by the Clearwater Police Department, which offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

Officials did not say what Caldwell was doing in the village, and they did not have a photo available to print.
