Fundraiser for children in Uganda

SPORTSET Health and Fitness Club and Come Together Yoga are partnering to support the HELP Primary School and the families of Masese, Uganda. You are invited to attend a fundraiser at SPORTSET, located at 60 Maple Ave. in Rockville Centre, on Saturday, June 7 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The unique handcrafted jewelry and purses created by the women of Masese will be on sale just in time for summer.

Look great and feel great knowing 100 percent of your donation benefits the village of Masese and the HELP Primary School. The Garrity and Silon families of Rockville Centre partnered with HELP International, creating the school for the refugee village of Masese in 2010. Prior to its inception, generations of children went uneducated and ate every third day. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of so many here in Rockville Centre, today more than 500 children attend the HELP School and receive breakfast and lunch each day.
