Holy Trinity blesses its furriest members

In addition to blessing animals, the church was also raising money for the Petco Foundation.

Pastor David Grainson blessed the animals at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.

On Oct. 4, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rockville Centre held its Blessing of the Animals, honoring the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.

Congregants came out to have their furry friends blessed by Pastor David Grainson.

In addition to the blessing, the church also used the day to raise funds for the Petco Foundation, an animal welfare group.
