Kids read to kids

Junior Girl Scouts from Hewitt Troop 804 invited children ages 3 – 6 to join them for “Kids Read to Kids,” a one-time program the girls designed as part of their work toward earning their Bronze award. Many children joined the girls at the event, held at the Rockville Centre Public Library on May 19. Organizers of the event said the girls wanted to thank Anita LaSpina, head children’s librarian, for her support and for helping to make this happen.
