Man robbed behind RVC house

Police are investigating a Rockville Centre robbery that occurred on the afternoon of Dec. 7.

According to Nassau County police, a 22-year-old male victim met an acquaintance on Shellbank Place. The subject was described as 5-foot 6-inches tall, dark buzz-cut hair, thin build, approximately 17 years old, driving a white Infinity G37.

After a brief conversation, two additional men arrived in a gray Infinity G37. The victim began to run, but was stopped by all three subjects in the rear of a home on Shellbank Place. The subjects punched the victim and stole his iPhone and cash, which was later recovered in the yard.

The second subject was described as 5-foot 8-iches, stocky build, about 18 to 24 years old. The third subject was about 5-foot 9-inches tall, medium build, and also 18 to 24 years old. The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.
