A 35-year-old man was struck and killed by the westbound 9:41 p.m. train in Rockville Centre at Dec. 23 at 10:25 p.m.

Passengers on the train were transferred to the 10:14 p.m. train, which arrived at Penn Station 55 minutes late.

Nine trains, mostly on the Babylon line were delayed afterwards. The delays ranged from 26 minutes to an hour, according to the MTA. One 10:53 p.m. train from Penn Station was canceled.

The man has not been identified, although MTA officials said he was from Jamaica, Queens. He was not authorized to be on the tracks, according to the MTA's twitter.

The investigation is still ongoing, although the death does not seem to be criminal in nature.
