Middle school honors Reflections winners

Congratulations to all South Side Middle School students who participated in this year’s PTA Reflections Contest. This year’s theme was “Believe, Dream, Inspire.” Creative entries were celebrated in the various fine arts of Literature, Visual Arts, Photography and Musical Composition. The literature entries of Leah Martino and Katelyn Tollefson, the Visual Arts entry of Colette Brancaccio, and the Musical Composition entry of Victoria Devine were all works judged and selected as PTA County Qualifiers. Most notable congratulations goes out to William Dragovich and Gillian McCabe. William’s original musical composition, which was both written and performed by him, will now proudly stand as a competitor at the state level. Gillian’s photography entry, which was selected and taken by her, also stands as a competitor at the state level. Will and Gillian and their families will celebrate their achievements at the Nassau Region Reflections Reception on April 23.
