Nominate your Rockville Centre Person of the Year

Is your friend the Mother Teresa of the neighborhood? Did your pastor organize a food drive to help people in the community?

The Herald is looking to find the most outstanding people in the communities we serve for our annual Person of the Year — and we'd like you to help us.

Please contact us with friends and neighbors you think could be our Person of the Year. Your nominee should be someone who made a real difference in the community — this year or in years past. It could be someone you know very well, or a stranger you've met only once. The only requirement is that they have a strong connection to the community and that they have made a difference in the lives of the people in Rockville Centre.
