The Friends of Senior Services, Inc. (FOSSI) held its annual Monte Carlo night at the Sandel Senior Center last week, bringing a little bit of the Las Vegas strip to Rockville Centre.
Residents were able to play some casino-style games with professional dealers, while helping to raise money for FOSSI, which gives back to the Sandel Center.
This year, the evening’s honoree was Dr. Drew Bogner, president of Molly College, for his contributions to the Rockville Centre community.
“I thought the evening was incredible,” said Pat Hueber, FOSSI president. “Dr. Bogner is an incredible gentleman. There’s just something special about the night that I can’t put my finger on.”
