Arrests

Maurice Dause, 47 of Ongley Street, was arrested on Jan. 4 at 2:22 p.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other vehicle and traffic violations after police say they saw him driving a car on Maple Avenue at Morris Avenue with an expired inspection certificate.

Jason Miller, 28 of Sunrise Highway, was arrested on Jan. 8 at 8:40 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and vehicle and traffic violations after police say they saw him driving on North Long Beach Road at Seaman Avenue.

Francisco Herrera, 23 of Long Beach, was arrested on Jan. 9 at 2:20 a.m. for an outstanding bench warrant and vehicle and traffic violations after police saw him driving on Sunrise Highway.

Patrick Sanmillan, 25 of Elmont, was arrested on Jan. 9 at 2:53 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated and other vehicle and traffic violations on North Park and Grand avenues.

Terry Nichols, 24 of Jamaica, Queens, and Alexander Appiagyei, 23 of Hempstead, were arrested on Jan. 9 after a joint investigation by the Nassau County Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Squad and the Rockville Centre Police Department’s anti-crime personnel. Nichols was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and Appiagyei was arrested and charged with promoting prostitution.

Natalie Farrell, 19 of Los Angeles, California, was arrested on Jan. 9 after a joint investigation by the Nassau County Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Squad and the Rockville Centre Police Department’s anti-crime personnel and charged with prostitution.

Michael Wade, 27 of North Forest Avenue, was arrested on Jan. 10 and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after a woman told police that her son’s friend had taken her car without permission.

Robbery

On Jan. 10 at 5:50 a.m., a man from Melton Drive West reported that while he was walking to work he was robbed of his cell phone by two men who then fled eastbound on Lakeview Avenue in a vehicle occupied by two other men. An investigation is under way.

Larceny

On Jan. 6, a man from Lynbrook reported that his credit card was used without permission and that purchases were made in Rockville Centre totaling $938.12. An investigation is under way.

Unusual Incident

On Jan. 5, a person from Marlborough Court reported that the safety seal was broken on a bottle of over-the-counter medication purchased at a pharmacy on Merrick Road in Rockville Centre. An investigation is under way.
