Arrests

A resident of Hunter Lane, Levittown, was arrested and charged with petit larceny on July 25 at 12:31 p.m. for allegedly shoplifting from the CVS located at 155 Sunrise Highway.

A resident of Grand Terrace Avenue, Staten Island, was arrested and charged with DWI and two counts of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle on July 26 at 12:01 p.m., after being involved in an auto accident at the intersection of Lakeview Avenue and N. Centre Avenue. The defendant and two occupants in the second vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.

A resident of Hughes Street, Hartford, Ct., was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana during an investigation on Sunrise Highway on July 27 at 1:03 a.m.

On July 27 at 7:09 p.m. police units responded to a report of youths firing air/bb guns inside the fenced area of property owned by the Village of Rockville Centre (south of Bligh Field). Five males, one 16-year-old and four juveniles were apprehended. The juveniles were processed and will answer the charges in Family Court. Devon Gordon, 16, of Rhame Avenue, East Rockaway, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

A resident of Howard Place, Baldwin, was arrested and charged with harassment and disorderly conduct in the vicinity of Municipal Parking Field 1 on July 30, at 8:20 p.m.

A resident of Cinder Lane, Hicksville, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of marijuana in the vicinity of 215 Sunrise Highway on July 31 at 2:40 a.m.

Robbery

A Hicksville resident reported on July 30 at 5:20 p.m. that he was robbed by several men while walking on the sidewalk near N. Village Avenue. The robbery had occurred the previous night at around 2 a.m. The man told police that the assailants ran off on foot with his personal papers, credit cards and $90. He received minor injuries.

Burglaries

A N. Long Beach Road resident reported on July 26 at 6 p.m. that an unknown person entered her apartment and removed Jewelry.

Another resident of N. Long Beach Road told police on July 26 at 7:45 p.m. that someone entered her apartment and removed jewelry and a camera.

On the same day, at 11:15 p.m., a resident of N. Long Beach Road reported that someone entered her apartment and stole an iPad.
