People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

A 36-year-old man from S. Centre Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested on Nov. 29 and charged with driving while intoxicated and VTL violations after an investigation at N. Village Avenue and Front Street.

A 74-year-old man from Edmund Street, Lynbrook, was arrested on Dec. 12 and charged with petit larceny after an investigation at Home Goods 150 N. Village Ave.

A 31-year-old man from Fairground Road, Taylorsville, Kentucky, was arrested on Dec. 4 and charged with Burglary, criminal possession of a weapon, and VTL violations after an investigation on Sunrise Highway.

Larcenies

A resident of Baldwin reported on Nov. 30 that someone stole two GPS devices valued at $350 from her motor vehicle while it was at the RVC Car Wash at 600 Sunrise Highway.

A resident of Locust Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Dec. 4 that someone stole his wallet while at McDonald’s at 618 Sunrise Highway.

The same day, a manager of the CVS located at 598 Merrick Road reported that someone stole a $15” Craig LCD television valued at $149.99.

Property Lost

A resident of N. Park Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported on Dec. 4 that she lost her Jamaica passport.
