People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.

Arrests

A 3-year-old man from Franklin Street, Hempstead, was arrested on Dec. 17 and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation after an investigation of an auto accident at Peninsula Boulevard and Lakeview Avenue.

A 22-year-old man from Meehan Lane, Rockville Centre, was arrested and charged with strangulation and unlawful imprisonment after a police investigation at a Meehan Lane residence on Dec. 17.

A 30-year-old woman from N. Village Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested on Dec. 22 and charged with petit larceny after an investigation at King Kullen located at 127 Sunrise Highway.

A 36-year-old man who lives on Grove Street, Lynbrook, was arrested the same day for obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest after an investigation at the same King Kullen. Pirillo also had an outstanding arrest warrant.

The same day, a 34-yer-old man from Unionport Road, Bronx, was arrested for identity theft, possession of a forged instrument, grand larceny, resisting arrest and several VTL violations after an investigation at a Hollywood Court, Rockville Centre residence.

A 21-year-old man from N. Kensington Avenue, Rockville Centre, was arrested for petit larceny after an investigation at the 7-11 located at 324 Merrick Road.

A 22-year-old man from Merrick Road, Lynbrook, was arrested the same day for aggravated unlicensed operation and VTL violations after an investigation at Municipal Parking Field 1.

A 36-year old man from Cumberland Street, Rockville Centre, was arrested on Dec. 27 and charged with assault, menacing and resisting arrest after an investigation at his residence.

Assault

An East Williston resident reported on Dec. 23 that he was assaulted while inside Kasey’s American Bar and Grill at 23 N. Park Avenue. The victim sustained minor injuries.
