People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.

Arrest

A 22-year-old East Rockaway woman, was arrested on Nov. 5 and charged with robbery after an investigation in Municipal Parking Field 1 regarding a reported theft that occurred at the Hallmark store, å278 Sunrise Highwayå.

Larcenies

A resident of North Woodmere reported on Nov. 1 that someone stole a briefcase and calculator from his car that was parked at Bally’s, 60 Merrick Road.

The same day, a resident of Princeton Road, Rockville Centre reported that someone stole an iPhone valued at $200 from his daughter’s locker at South Side Middle School.

A resident of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on Nov. 4 that someone stole his 2010 Lexus that was parked in an underground garage.

A resident of New Jersey reported the same day that a man stole her iPhone, valued at $600, from the bar at Chichen Itza, 212 Merrick Road.

Criminal mischief

A resident of Broadway, Rockville Centre reported on Nov. 3 that the tire of his 2005 Jeep was damaged and a windshield wiper was taken.

Property damage

A resident of Elmont reported on Nov. 1 that the side rear bumper of his 2007 Toyota was damaged while parked in Municipal Parking Field 2A.

On Nov. 3, a resident of St. James Place, Rockville Centre reported that a car damaged shrubbery on her property.

The following day, a resident of Morris Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported that the rear driver side window of his 2006 Chevrolet was damaged while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 3.

A resident of Malverne reported on Nov. 5 that the driver side door of his 2007 Nissan was somehow damaged while it was parked on South Centre Avenue.

A resident of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre reported on the same day that the rear driver side window of her 2006 Nissan was damaged while it was parked in Municipal Parking Field 5.

Unusual incidents

A resident of Fonda Road, Rockville Centre reported on Nov. 1 that someone made $300 worth of unauthorized purchases against her Bloomingdale’s American Express account.

On Nov. 4, a resident of Maple Avenue, Rockville Centre, reported that someone entered her unlocked 2011 Honda without permission while it was parked in an underground garage.

Found property

A resident of Muirfield Road, Rockville Centre reported on Nov. 4 that she found a Raleigh mountain bicycle in her side yard.
