Visitors to the Recreation Center on the afternoon of Jan. 9 enjoyed the annual celebration of Three Kings Day, thrown by the Hispanic Brotherhood of Rockville Centre.
Three Kings Day, also known as the Feast of the Epiphany, celebrates the Biblical story of the three kings — Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar — who followed a star that led them to Bethlehem, where they brought baby Jesus gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. The festivities were marked by refreshments and gifts for the children.
