Rockville Centre's Sandel Center preps for Monte Carlo Night on April 30

A glittering casino awaits village residents on Saturday night, April 30, along with an array of delicious food, an open bar, professional dealers, entertainment and tons of terrific prizes, at the 2003 price of $50 per person.

The Friends of Senior Services, Inc. (FOSSI’s) Monte Carlo Night has become one of Rockville Centre’s most popular fund raising events for people of all ages. Each year, FOSSI transforms the Sandel Center into an impressive casino invoking the excitement of Monte Carlo itself.

Monte Carlo 2011 will feature a dinner buffet provided by Maple Pointe Assisted Living. This year’s Monte Carlo is also made possible by Links Realty Group, the Cocktail Sponsor; Francis X. Murray, the Café Sponsor and the many other local businesses, professionals and community organizations who contribute sponsorships and prizes. Sponsorship opportunities are still available and gift donations are most welcome.

This year’s guest of honor is Pat Huber, founder, president and CEO of Better Home Health Care. Huber is an exceptional woman, an effective advocate for senior citizens and an active, caring citizen of Rockville Centre.

Funds raised at Monte Carlo support programs and services at the Senior Center. Past events have made possible the construction of new bathroom facilities, a handicap accessible bus, interior safety upgrades to the senior center and the gorgeous garden park.
