RVC wins AAA traffic safety award

The Village of Rockville Centre received a Gold Award at AAA’s 52nd annual Traffic Safety Awards Luncheon at the The Carltun in East Meadow. The awards were presented on Oct. 13 by John Corlett, director of public/government affairs and traffic safety.

The village was cited for its many traffic safety efforts. They included traffic safety education programs for teenage and senior drivers, performing car seat checks as well as engineering and enforcement initiatives to promote safer roadways.
