Light Rain RVCFD cuts car out from under truck

The RVCFD responded to a car wedged under a truck. The car driver and passenger received minor injuries.

On Oct. 8, the Rockville Centre Fire Department responded to a car accident on Merrick Road.
At about 3:15 p.m., the driver of a Kia Optima crashed into the back of a truck at the intersection of Merrick Road and Lincoln Avenue, wedging the car underneath. The RVCFD had to cut the car away to free it from under the truck.
The driver and their passenger received minor injuries. The truck driver was uninjured.
