The St. Agnes Cathedral School gala committee held its kickoff cocktail party on Dec. 15. The 2011 gala ball, which will be held at the Garden City Hotel on Feb. 12, honors community members who have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to Catholic education and recognizes an educator for outstanding service.

The event promises to be an elegant evening with food, live music and great company. It is a time for the St Agnes school community to thank the 2011 honorees — Mary Beth Croutier, scheduled to receive the St. Catherine of Siena Award for commitment to Catholic education; Chris and Eileen White Jahn, who are set to receive the St. Thomas Aquinas Award for ongoing support of Catholic education and Clare Silecchia who will receive the Elizabeth Anne Seton Award for dedicated service to Catholic education.
