A Few Clouds Sandel fundraiser draws record crowd

It was a rocking good time at the eighth annual Friends of Senior Services, Inc. Monte Carlo night last Saturday.
Not only did everyone have a great time playing casino games to raise money for the Sandel Senior Center, but the event drew the largest crowd ever — with 240 people filling the S. Park Avenue center to bet on the roulette table and play poker and blackjack.
There was music, food and fun for all. Those who weren’t gambling were able to dance and enjoy watching their friends win — and lose — the fake money they were all given at the door.
