The Sandel Senior Center hosted an intergenerational luncheon on May 25, as Sandel members and South Side High School students from the Intergenerational Sharing club gathered to eat, dance and sing karaoke.
The club, which meets approximately once a month for group-related activities, has become an immensely popular activity for South Side students over the last several years. It hosts various parties throughout the year in the winter, spring and fall months and encourages enduring relationships between the generations.
