Sisterhood of B’nai Sholom hosts fashion show fundraiser

It was an evening of fashion and fun at Congregation B’nai Sholom-Beth David in Rockville Centre last month when a lively group of Sisterhood members and friends gathered for some conversation, dessert and a peak at the latest summer looks, courtesy of Chico’s in Merrick.

The fashion show featured casual and dressy summer wear modeled by Sisterhood members.

“It was a great night for everyone involved,” said Nancy Hochhauser and Ethel Oppenheimer, Sisterhood Co-Presidents. “Our models Phyllis Entin, Linda Grossman, Fortune Kaufman, Ilene Knobel, Rhoda Ralph, Harriet Rosenberg, Robin Sackstein and Hara Waite were terrific and all looked fabulous.”

The evening, which included a dessert buffet and a variety of gift basket raffles filled with donations from local businesses, left everyone eagerly awaiting next year’s show.
