Work on South Side High School continues through the winter.
Earlier this month, the school received the last shipment of steel for the addition to the building. Normally, construction work would stop during the winter, when the low temperatures make work difficult. But to stay on schedule, the South Side High School addition will be tented and heated by the construction company so that they will be able to work throughout the winter months.
