Students at Hewitt Elementary School spent the Friday before their three-day weekend learning about the reason they had Monday off— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.—and his impact on the world. In addition to activities that taught them about diversity, the students listened to King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech.
