On Dec. 13, Central Synagogue held its annual Chanuplex event, in celebration of Hanukkah, the Jewish Festival of Lights.
Families came to enjoy a range of holiday-related activities that were staffed by a number of volunteers from the synagogue. They also heard live music, one of the highlights of the event. Bands of all shapes and sizes played music ranging from traditional Jewish songs to blue grass.
There were games for children of all ages, a puppet show, a movie and discussion, a cooking class, arts and crafts, refreshments and fun for the whole family.
