Gary Kondor, right, chairman of the Rockville Centre Housing Authority Board of Commissioners, swore in two new resident commissioners — Herbert Coleman and Cecelia Brown — to the Housing Authority board. They took office on Aug. 1.
The newly elected commissioners will represent the community in the policies, procedures and decisions of the board to ensure the best operation possible for the Housing Authority.
Coleman and Brown replace Alfreda Brewster and Geraldine Calhoun whose terms on the board expired.
