A Verizon production company took up valuable parking spots in Rockville Centre on Jan. 21, when it filmed a telephone commercial at a S. Village Avenue store. From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Rockville Centre Police Department barricaded the block, closing it to traffic but not pedestrians, enabling the cast and crew to complete the commercial.
