Village holds annual Mayor’s Golf Outing

Last week, the Village of Rockville Centre held the annual Mayor’s Golf Classic at the Rockville Centre Links Country Club.

In addition to being a day of golf, the outing also honors a member of the Rockville Centre community for their contributions. This year’s honoree was John Cameron Jr., managing partner of Cameron Engineering & Associates, LLP. Additionally, the village honored former Trustee Jack Matthews with the Outstanding Community Service Award.

The day-long event is a fundraiser for the Rockville Centre Community Fund, which helps residents in times of need. Though the exact total hasn’t been calculated, this year’s fundraiser was more successful than those of the previous years.
