Harvest Fair brings delightful fall fun

Posted

A rainy day did not stop attendees from enjoying the fall festivities at the Seaford Harvest Fair on Sept. 24.

The annual fair took place at the Seaford Historical Museum, which was a two-room schoolhouse built in 1893. The Seaford Historical Society hosted the event as a fundraiser to help support and maintain the museum, which has been restored and refurbished into a first class landmark thanks to the help of volunteers.

Pumpkins, mums, and home-style baked goods were on sale for guests to enjoy. The fair had a variety of vendors, and even entertainment for all ages. Kids received face painting from members of the Seaford High School student council, and enjoyed bringing home pumpkins for the fall season.
