Seaford musicians shine at All-County festival

From vocalists in the chorus to instrumentalists in the band, more than two dozen student-musicians were proud to represent the Seaford School District at the annual All-County music festival. Rehearsals and concerts were held during the first two weeks of January.

The All-County festival, hosted by the Nassau Music Educators Association, recognizes students from grades 5 through 12. They are chosen based on their NYSSMA solo performance scores and teacher recommendations.

The district congratulates the following musicians on this accomplishment:

Seaford High School: Kieran Calderaro, Isabella Gerace, Corinne Gustavson, Cassandra Kelly, Alexia Mohammed, Dylan Quinn, Matthew Sabatino, Mary Saporito and Faith Schaefer, chorus; and Madelyn Boyon and Brian Karaman, band.

Seaford Middle School: Chris Falta, Leanne Gregorek and Madison Spinella, chorus; and Samantha Juan and Brandon Siegel, band.

Seaford Harbor School: Peyton Hujber, Charlotte Ickowicz, Kerrigan Lambert, John Tirino and Carlo Valerio, chorus; and Logan Siegel, band.

Seaford Manor School: Delaney Cassidy, chorus, and A.J. Maresca and Sky Schoenberger, band.
