On Oct. 17, volunteers of the Lynbrook Fire Department, including its Ladies Auxiliary and junior firefighters, marched from the Earle Avenue parking lot to the Lynbrook Firefighters Memorial on the corner of Sunrise Highway and Earle Avenue to remember and honor the six firefighters who died in the line of duty.
