After Hurricane Sandy, Swingbelly's teamed up with Shine's and cooked free meals for residents.

“I’m getting messages on Facebook from people asking to help that I don’t even know,” Sullivan said. “We’re hoping to feed thousands of people and contributions are coming in from all over the country. What’s so great about Long Beach is that everyone is thankful to be alive. Everyone seems so positive — I hear stories about the West End, how people are going in to volunteer and work on [rebuilding] houses. That to me is just amazing.”
