The driver of the Ford, 46-year-old Christopher DeCrescito, of Ferngate Drive, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly before 10 p.m. The driver of the Subaru was not hurt.

Daly was taken to a nearby hospital for injuries to his right hip and right arm. All vehicles were impounded for safety inspections.

After his arrest, Daly was charged with second-degree manslaughter, second-degree vehicular manslaughter, reckless driving and driving while intoxicated. Daly has not yet been arraigned.
