The Baldwin Republican Club spread the love this past Valentine’s Day.
Members collected new blankets and donated them to the St. Christopher’s food pantry. They were delivered on Feb. 14.
Additionally, nearly 400 puzzles were collected from the Baldwin community and donated to senior citizens at Halandia Shores, Harbor Cove and Brookside Gardens along with about 100 Valentine’s Day cards.
The cards were created as part of Miss Wantagh Second Runner Up Angelina Maciak’s community service project, members said. The cards were crafted by students at Forest Lake Elementary School, Mandalay Elementary School, Wantagh Middle School and Wantagh High School.
