Partly Cloudy Baldwin softball coach wins conference award

Baldwin High School Softball Coach Tom Llewellyn was awarded Nassau’s AA-1 “Conference Coach of the Year” award earlier this month.
Llewellyn is credited with building the team from a lower-conference unit to playing in the top tier. “He’s put in a lot of work to get them playing at Conference 1 level with some of the historically strong softball schools,” Eduardo Ramirez, Baldwin’s athletics director, told the Herald. “We were competitive this year.”
The team finished 8-6 in the conference. They were knocked out of the playoffs by Calhoun, which reached the final.
