Bar brawl at West Merrick Road leaves four severely injured

Police arrived at North Central Avenue and West Merrick Road  after a bar brawl which broke out at Moons Lounge and Café left four bloodied and severely injured. 

Two women, one 31, the other 26, as well as two men, 31 and 34, were found with stab and laceration wounds at around 3:30 a.m. on February 3. 

The fight apparently broke out between these four people and a group of unknown individuals at the West Merrick Road bar and turned violent, eventually spilling out onto the street.  The unknown individuals ran away and the four wounded were taken to a nearby hospital where each were treated for their wounds. The investigation remains ongoing.
