With record-breaking temperatures last week, it's no wonder that more people have been coming out to Masone Beach in Island Park.
Beach officials have said that 770 beach tags have already been sold this year, and the beach only opened on June 26.
And there have been even more people at the beach during the day as usual. With the Island Park School District's new summer program, there are 50-100 kids on the beach every day—a perfect way to cool off when the mercury goes sky high.
