Bernard (Bernie) Juliano died at 64

Former Five Towner native Bernard (Bernie) Juliano, 64, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away November  30,  2009, at Martin Nursing Home in Stuart, Florida. 

Prior to moving to Florida, where he lived with his brother for the past 11 years, Bernie lived in Inwood. Bernie was born with Down Syndrome and is best remembered for his participation as a bat boy and a manager / commissioner for the Inwood softball league, which played its games at the Number Two School. He was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Good Council R.C. Church in Inwood, where he attended Mass with his late mother, Rose. 

Bernie is survived by his brother, Stephen, of Jensen Beach, and his sister, Rose Librizzi, of Oceanside. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in New York.
