On Feb. 19, the owners of All Island Taxi told the Rockville Centre Police Department that employees allegedly withheld fares over several years. Rockville Centre Police took the matter to Nassau County Police, who have opened an investigation and would not comment further.

All Island Taxi confirmed that a report was made but would not say why or how the owners became suspicious. Owner Larry Blessinger said that the initial report was made to RVCPD because “the crime occurred in Rockville Centre.”
