Kennedy seniors and their dates gathered at the Basile household in South Bellmore before prom on Thursday evening.

Seniors and their dates gathered at homes across Bellmore-Merrick to prepare for prom last Thursday. The Basiles of Bellmore hosted about 20 Kennedy High School couples, who gathered to chat over food with their friends and classmates as parents snapped photos. The house, located on the water, made for a beautiful evening.
Kennedy’s prom was held at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park, Mepham’s at Leonard’s of Great Neck and Calhoun’s at Floral Terrace in Floral Park.
