Child sexual abuse and abduction prevention workshops

“I Am the Boss of My Body,” for pre-Kindergarten to third-grade students, is an interactive workshop designed to teach children skills to protect themselves by learning that they are the boss of their body and have the right to say “No,” children learn how to safeguard themselves from abduction and childhood sexual abuse. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, July 19, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., in Stony Brook. Donation is $5 per child. Registration is limited to 30 children. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
