Christmas Trees in Island Park

On Saturday December 15' th a Christmas Tree Event was held in Island Park at 233 Long Beach Road. The businesses at that location, Island Advantage Realty, Doris the Florist and B & B Contstruction coordinated this event. A donation of trees was given by Home Depot, The Christmas Tree Farmers Association of NY, and several others. That day over 350 trees were given out to the local community, trees were trimmed and tied to the cars, and ornaments were also given out. There was also a comlimentary display of food donated by M's Restaurant and King Kullen, and coffee was donated by Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts.
