Young Rockville Centre residents between the ages of 8 and 12 participated in the first annual Fashion Bugz event at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center on the evening of April 21.
MLK Center Director Patrick Morris said the fashion show was part of a plan to raise funds for the center’s program for girls that is designed to build self-esteem and broaden their horizons. Estelle’s Dressy Dresses, Marshall’s Dress and T.J. Maxx were sponsors.
